Our trips feature expert commentary by naturalists/researchers from Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation (www.blueoceansociety.org), a Portsmouth, NH-based non-profit organization whose staff have been conducting educational programs and studying local whales since 1996.  Trips provide an invaluable opportunity to collect data on local whale populations, and Blue Ocean Society maintains a catalog of local fin and humpback whales, so they can often tell you plenty about a sighted whale's history!   As we look for whales, there's plenty to do!
